Recent Interior Photography commission in East London. This area has been part of a massive regeneration project – with hundreds of new apartments being built close to the Thames Barrier.
I’ve been shooting the stunning Copper Bath tubs made by Dorset based company ‘William Holland’ for a couple of years, but this was our first advertising shoot together. The concept was one of the bath tubs set in bucolic rural settings, one a wildflower meadow, and the second, a field of bright red poppies. I worked with a Nikon D810, 45mm PC and 70-200mm f/2.8 lenses, along with a Profoto B1 and 5 foot Octabox which was invaluable in helping to highlight the bathtub, the hero of the image, from the surroundings. These images will soon be running as full page a4 adverts in ‘World of Interiors’ and other magazines, I can’t wait to see how these pictures look in print.
