Woolwich Town Hall, Woolwich, London

I took advantage of the Open House weekend in London last week to visit a few buildings not usually open to the public. One of which was Woolwich Town Hall, a part of the city I’m not familiar with but is changing fast because of the impending Crossrail station due to open in December 2018.

The Town Hall is the seat of Royal Greenwich’s local government, the building construction began in 1903 and was opened in 1906. Inside is the beautiful ornate Victoria Hall seen in the pictures I shot below.
